Qutb Minar
Qutb Minar is the world's tallest brick minaret. It was begin in 1193 and completed in 1386. The minaret is 72 meters high with 379 step to the top. The diameter at the base is 14.3 meters. Wikipedia states that it "is notable for being on of the earliest and most prominent examples of Indo-Islamic architecture." Within the complex is an iron pillar that was allegedly first erected in 375-413 AD or even as early as 912 BCE. It was later brought to Qutb Minar. Qutb Minar is the first mosque built on the Indian subcontinent.
