Jama Masjid Mosque
The Jama Masjid mosque is one of four or five in India, but this is the principal mosque in Delhi. It was commoissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the builder of the Taj Mahal. It was completed in 1656. It lies at the origin of the Chandni Chowk, the central street of old Delhi. It has a capacity of 25000 people.
