Elephants on the plains near the Chobe River in northern Botswana.
This leopard had captured his or her dinner, an impala, but it was stolen by two lions who were in the process of eating it just a few feet from the fig tree where the leopard found refuge.
Our leopard was a bit sleepy, in spite of losing his dinner to two lions.

Part of our group watching the young lion cubs. They were being led my their mother to a sheltered spot in the shade.
For some time we watched a female and her two cubs. There were two other females in the pride.
