Bears of Katmai
In late August, 2022 I visited Katmai National Park with Muench Workshops. The goal was to phptograph the grizzly bears when they come to feed on salmon in the steams, especially around Geographic Harbor. We flew from Anchorage to Kodiak and then by seaplane to Katmai. The group included 9 photographers and two instructors. We stayed on the Dreamcatcher, a small but comfortable boat anchored in Geographic Harbor.
